Here is a photo of me with Dr. Maya Angelou at the Winspear in Edmonton when I opened for her in November. I sang “Blackbird” in honor of her poem “I know why the caged bird sings”, and “Who are you not to Be”…the poem from Marianne Williamson….an honor indeed! |
