A Fine Balance

Speaking of moving fast…finding a balance between doing and being is so important for us in this crazy world of go go go.

Can doing and being co-exist?

Can I be in both doing and being as I attend to my work?

Can the energy in my body be in my awareness as I focus on my work?

Can the sounds of where I am be in the background of my awareness while I focus on the task at hand?

Can I be aware of my feet and my breath as I act on my impulses to do and take action?

A nervous system that is going too fast doesn’t get that. A fast nervous system that is locked in a deadline mentality is not aware of the present moment, doesn’t care about it, doesn’t know about it and so doesn’t see the value in it.

Alternatively a nervous system that is is locked in the opposite position of I don’t care and I can’t is too slow and also doesn’t know how to access the pristine beauty of the moment.

The moment itself is really a combination of the focus of our minds and the energy of our body coming together in a constant recalibration of energy and light.

The slow system doesn’t have enough energy and a fast system has too much energy, the question is can we hold both sides and allow the time that it takes to find this fine balance within?

Try this…

The magic of voice and sound is that it has the coding in it to connect us to the present moment. Sound has the intelligence software of vibration that is innately in the present moment.

Try making a very low almost silent hum into your body for one minute or as long as feels good.

Then rest and notice that the sound of your hum has touched the energy and the moment and is now echoing and rippling throughout your whole body like a pebble dropped into a still pond.

Let that echo hold you and keep you here for as long as it….
